Goal
Nokia Finland wanted to encourage users to share their favorite places to visit during the Finnish midsummer period.
Solutions
The best user suggestions were taken and promoted via ads on the NAVTEQ LocationPoint™ advertising platform. LocationPoint proximity ads enabled users to navigate to the promoted location and also visit the Nokia mobile website to offer their own suggestions.
Results
The campaign generated great results, with a 4.85% click-through rate. Of those users who clicked on the banner, 29% proceeded to the Click to Map option and 22% navigated to the campaign microsite.
